Investment Analyst, Renewable Energy

Our client, a leading European asset manager, is seeking to hire an Investment Analyst to join its Energy and Infrastructure Investment team in London. With significant capital to deploy, the team focuses on direct mid-market equity investments across the renewable energy sector, as well as adjacent technologies. The Analyst will play a key role throughout the entire deal execution lifecycle across the firm's European platform.

THE ROLE:

• Play an active role in the deal execution process across direct energy investments in Europe
• Undertake due diligence, financial modelling, valuation and structuring responsibilities
• Support with the preparation of investment committee materials
• Assist in portfolio management activities, as well as selling existing investments

THE CANDIDATE:

• Prior internship or Analyst-level experience within an infrastructure or energy M&A team at a Big-4 firm, investment bank, or infrastructure fund
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy and broader energy sectors
• Solid financial modelling and analytical skills, particularly DCF modelling
• Demonstrated interest in joining a high-performing investment team and building a long-term career in energy investing
