About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Investment Analyst to join their lean and dynamic investment team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in public equities through deep-dive research and active engagement with company management teams.

This role is ideal for candidates with 2+2 years of experience in investment banking and private equity who are looking to transition into public markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rigorous financial modeling and valuation analysis
• Perform deep operational due diligence and creative primary research
• Engage with senior executives and stakeholders with professionalism and maturity
• Present investment ideas and insights to the investment team
• Collaborate closely with the founder and other team members on high-conviction ideas

Qualifications:

• 2+ 2 years of experience in investment banking and private equity
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Genuine passion for investing and a long-term mindset
• High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred

Location: San Francisco (in-office, 5 days/week)

Duration: 2+ years with potential to extend based on performance
