Position: Finance Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $77–$85/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on finance problems. Produce original problem sets grounded in valuation models, payoff diagrams, and financial statements. Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with AI research teams to improve task quality and throughput. Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in Finance or Financial Economics, or CFA with 3+ years investment or research experience, or BA/BS in Finance with 5+ years applied finance, investment, or corporate finance experience. Working fluency in at least two of: corporate finance, asset pricing, derivatives, risk management, financial statement analysis. Comfortable reading and interpreting valuation models, payoff diagrams, and financial statements. Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
