Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated sell-side Investment Banking Analyst, Associate, or VP, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sell-side transaction execution. This will include building financial models, creating confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and managing the document generation process during pre-diligence and diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking detailed call notes without using AI
  • Building complex financial models and conducting financial analysis within accounting statements
  • Creating presentations including teasers, CIMs, and management presentations
  • Managing the pre-diligence and due diligence document gathering and generation process
  • Supporting senior bankers with client management
  • Developing industry research reports and investment-memo style presentations
  • Keeping track of industry trends within lower-middle market segments, particularly within the trades and business services

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment banking, private equity, VC, or corporate development is required

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred but open to all majors

Compensation:

  • The compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary and a performance-based bonus. The total compensation package can be particularly compelling.

Work Model:

  • This position offers a remote or hybrid work model, allowing for a flexible combination of in-office and remote work to best support our team's productivity. This role often requires long hours during the week and over the weekend, especially when a deal is live.
