Job Description

**Responsibilities**

+ Support transaction execution across M&A, equity, and debt advisory assignments from initial analysis through closing

+ Develop and review financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and transaction-related analyses

+ Prepare high-quality client materials, including pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and board-level materials

+ Perform company-specific, industry, and market research across energy subsectors such as upstream, midstream, power, renewables, and energy services

+ Coordinate and manage transaction processes, including due diligence activities and interaction with clients, investors, legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors

+ Review and oversee analysts’ work product, providing guidance, feedback, and quality control

+ Assist senior bankers with business development efforts and ongoing client relationship management

  • *Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

+ 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field; energy sector experience preferred

+ Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial databases

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork

  • *Preferred Experience**

+ Prior experience in energy investment banking, energy-focused private equity, commercial or investment banking, or corporate development

+ Familiarity with energy-specific financial and operating metrics

+ Experience supporting M&A transactions
