The Role

Our client is seeking an Investment banking-CCG-TMT in the Banking & Finance division.

Job description:

The fixed-term contractor will be an important part to the Telecom, Media, and Technology sector team. It will be a fixed-term, full-time position and is expected to follow the general guidance and requirements for an entry-level investment banking role, including and not limited to certain compliance and regulatory rules. The contractor is expected to readily support senior team members in performing daily investment banking tasks, therefore prior experience in investment banking is highly preferred. The contractor would have a chance to work on live projects and different products and contribute to the success of the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the team in the origination and assessment in IB deal opportunities (e.g. M&As, Financial advisory, IPOs, financings).
• Organize and prepare pitch books or other presentation materials for use in client meetings.
• Prepare client-facing transaction materials and support executions including but not limited to industry and company analysis, valuation, process management, and financial modelling.
• Perform research of targeted industries/ companies. Monitor key economic developments, ongoing industry trends and company news and provide relevant analysis.
• Interpret financial information/ data, evaluate company's financial performance.
• Maintain various databases, credentials, model templates.
• Supporting the team in the maintenance of trading and transaction comparable databases and other recurring/weekly tasks.
