M&A Senior Analyst / Junior Associate

Overview
An independent investment banking firm specialising in energy transition, power, infrastructure and natural resources is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst or Junior Associate into its London-based M&A team. The role offers early responsibility, broad transaction exposure and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on high-quality, cross-border mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of sell-side, buy-side and capital raise transactions across energy transition and infrastructure sectors
- Build and review financial models, valuations and transaction analyses
- Prepare marketing materials, information memoranda, management presentations and investor materials
- Coordinate due diligence, data rooms and advisor workstreams
- Assist with process management, buyer/investor outreach and transaction execution
- Interact directly with clients, investors and counterparties under senior supervision
Candidate Profile
- Senior Analyst (2–3 years) or Junior Associate (3–5 years) of relevant experience
- Background in investment banking, M&A advisory, energy/infrastructure advisory, or related sectors
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Exposure to energy, power, infrastructure or natural resources preferred
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented and execution-focused
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with high visibility
- Strong communication skills and professional maturity
