Join our dynamic Wealth Investment team at Mercer as we seek a talented individual for an exciting client-facing role focused on advising our Endowment and Foundation clients. This hybrid position allows for flexible working arrangements and is based in our offices in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, or Denver, where you will be required to work at least three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients' staff, investment committees, and boards to provide tailored investment advice and solutions.
- Bring your prior experience with Endowment and Foundation clients to the table, especially within the higher education sector, as well as expertise with institutional clients.
- Leverage your investment knowledge to design, develop, and communicate effective investment solutions, focusing on both traditional and alternative investments.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams on investment strategies, portfolio management, research, marketing, sales, and consulting practices.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues in their professional growth and development.
- Engage with both current and prospective clients to expand the range of services we provide, helping them achieve their missions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA, CFP, or CAIA are preferred.
- 7-15 years of experience in investment consulting, preferably with endowment and foundation clients.
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and effectively discussing complex investment topics with clients of varying sophistication.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Eagerness to stay informed about the latest developments in the investment industry and market trends.
- Desire to manage, motivate, and mentor junior team members.
- Strong business development orientation, focusing on building and nurturing client relationships and driving growth opportunities.

The base salary range for this role is $122,400 to $244,800, with final compensation determined by factors such as experience, location, and qualifications.
