POSITION SUMMARY:

The Team COO is a senior level position that serves as a lead coordinator for a Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor Team. As part of the sales organization, this role oversees and orchestrates all business operations and execution for the team. The Team COO will be responsible for enhancing team capacity, managing the client service model, ensuring the execution of new business initiatives and marketing, implementing client investment strategies, and overseeing Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team compensation.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee team Support Professionals to ensure alignment on team priorities and business goals

Serve as a coordinator for business matters related to the Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team, ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate contact, addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and track progress until resolved

Coordinate and guide strategic business initiatives to achieve desired results, including acquisition of assets and growth and performance tracking of Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisors

Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisors to facilitate efficient decision making

Lead Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team in establishing and cultivating relationships with new and existing clients as well as key stakeholders

Proactively assess client needs to determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual on the Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team to manage

Manage Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team client communications strategy

Interview candidates for hire, train Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team members, oversee and regulate group workflow and workload

May take client orders and provide market quotes within Compliance guidelines

Evaluates, develops, and implements new services offered by the firm to determine how to integrate them into current service offering

Closely coordinates with analysts and Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisors to oversee client investment functions, including but not limited to the oversight of policies, procedures, reporting and performance metrics via firm approved resources Leads client onboarding including implementing the appropriate investment strategy and determining the correct client placement within the Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team

Manages elements of Financial Advisors / Private Wealth Advisor team compensation including support staff salaries and funding

Maintains and develops client relationships by developing strategies to meet their financial goals through financial planning and wealth management

Analyzes investment opportunities and advises clients in accordance with the Financial Advisor / Private Wealth Advisor team's agreed upon strategy

Education and/or Experience

College degree or professional certification required

10 or more years of relevant work experience preferred

Active SIE, Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66

Additional product licenses may be required

Knowledge/Skills

Financial industry and product knowledge

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of applicable compliance rules and regulations and firm policies

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

Evidence of strong leadership skills or previous supervisory experience
