Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Investment Funds Associate in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law, including finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. This role involves representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in various transactions. The position offers flexibility to work from any of the firm's US offices.

Duties

• Manage structured securities offerings for the Investment Funds Group.
• Represent clients in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Handle transactions involving acquisitions, restructurings, and complex financings.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Produce timely and accurate work products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in structured securities offerings.
• Experience with commercial real estate law preferred.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of office location.
