Investment Management & Business Development Associate

Belco Private Capital Inc. is an investment fund manager, portfolio manager and exempt market dealer. We provide regulatory compliance and fund operations solutions to issuers who distribute securities within the exempt market.

Belco is looking to hire an Investment Management & Business Development Associate to become an integral part of its team. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

· Conducting due diligence on asset managers with a diverse set of investment mandates.

· Working with portfolio managers to help oversee investments held within the funds.

· Supporting the investment team with fund operations.

· Assisting senior management with business development initiatives across Belco’s three main business verticals.

· Presenting to prospects on Belco’s investment services.

· We will sponsor the candidate as an Advising Representative or Associate Advising Representative of our Portfolio Manager and/or sponsor the candidate as a Dealing Representative of our Exempt Market Dealer.

If you possess the following characteristics, skills, and experience, we would like to hear from you:

· Business degree from a reputable university.

· 2 or more years of working in finance in an investment operations, investment management or business development capacity.

· CFA level 1, CIM, or CPA.

· Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

· Good computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

· The willingness and flexibility to take on a wide variety of tasks.

Compensation and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience, and will include:

· Base salary
