Investment Manager (Textile/Agricultural) | Tai Ching Cheung, HK | In-Office

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate promising startup investment opportunities through in-depth industry research, company analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation assessments.

• Lead end-to-end investment transactions, from initial engagement with founders to deal closure, including preparing investment memos, legal documentation, and presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee.

• Actively manage a portfolio of investee companies and funds on a day-to-day basis.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, Audit, Company Secretarial, etc.) throughout deal execution and portfolio oversight.

• Conduct comprehensive market and ecosystem research to inform strategic decision-making, with a particular focus on Hong Kong's startup landscape.

• Provide flexible support on various ad-hoc projects as needed by the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Research, or a related field.

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment funds, financial institutions, or buyside roles (highly preferred).

• Deep industry knowledge in Textiles, Agriculture, and Agri-Tech is essential for this role.

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis is a significant advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior Manager.
