Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site or remote Investor role based in Long Beach, CA. As an Investor at Vertexx Network, you will evaluate potential investment opportunities, assess business models, and conduct due diligence to make informed decisions. You will build and maintain relationships with startup founders, analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights to guide investment strategy. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to support portfolio growth, ensure alignment with business goals, and participate in fundraising efforts or investor relations activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, market research, or due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with founders and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify emerging market trends, assess risks, and recommend strategic investment actions.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methods, and business strategy development.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and create meaningful reports on portfolio performance.
• Familiarity with startup ecosystems, technology industries, or venture capital practices is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
