Role Overview:
Responsible for supporting Data Privacy, Information Security, and Cybersecurity initiatives within a structured environment, ensuring alignment with leading industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support privacy-related activities including data mapping, documentation, and alignment with GDPR principles
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of information security frameworks aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST
- Perform risk assessments, control testing, and support internal/external audit activities
- Support access management, user controls, and enforcement of security best practices
- Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives and reporting
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in Information Security, IT Audit, Data Privacy, or IT Risk
- Understanding of GDPR and core privacy principles
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks
- Exposure to IT controls (ITGC / ITAC) is advantageous
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Additional Requirement:
- Willingness to travel within UAE for engagements, if required
