Salary based on technical experience and technical interview

Position Overview

Seeking an IT Business Analyst to support enterprise data platform initiatives, including onboarding, requirements gathering, and operational analysis in a federal environment.

This role bridges business needs and technical implementation, ensuring effective delivery of data and compliance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements
• Support enterprise data platform onboarding and tenant configurations
• Analyze workflows related to tax processing and compliance systems
• Develop reports, metrics, and cost tracking models
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and data lakehouse architectures using Databricks and AWS
• Optimize performance of large-scale distributed data processing workloads
• Implement data governance, security, and access controls
• Integrate data across enterprise systems and cloud services
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on data strategy and platform design

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT or business analysis experience
• 3+ years supporting compliance systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
