Job Overview

The IT Compliance Risk Analyst plays a key role in assessing internal controls within the bank’s operational environment. This position involves collaborating with various business units to evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to mitigate financial reporting risks. Key responsibilities include ensuring that internal processes, systems, and workforce functions are correctly designed and executed to minimize errors in financial reporting by identifying gaps and implementing practical solutions.

Additional duties include conducting evaluations of third-party vendors, assessing deficiencies, updating internal control documentation, and offering consultative services to business lines concerning internal controls with a particular focus on financial reporting, data management, and operational processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than six years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), SOC (SSAE-18) reports, and IT General Controls
  • Experience in control testing
  • Strong facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Sound business acumen and credibility to help business lines identify and mitigate evolving risks
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in various software including Microsoft Office applications and Archer eGRC
  • Preferred professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven track record in a complex work environment
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational capabilities

This position offers a hybrid schedule with an expectation to work in-office three or more days per week, while providing flexibility for remote work on other days.

The salary for this role ranges from $98,175.00 to $115,500.00, reflecting the primary location of the position. This figure may vary based on the geographic region.
