What you’ll do
You will be supporting the various IT needs of Brex employees across all departments and teams. Primarily, your role will be to unblock other employee's work by resolving tickets quickly and efficiently. You will give excellent customer service by utilizing creative thinking and problem-solving skills. You will work within the IT Support Team to build more mature systems, improve existing processes, and drive IT projects across many teams.
Where you’ll work
This role will be based in our Vancouver office. You must be willing to work in the office 5 days per week. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
Manage and scale IT infrastructure, services and tooling
Provide in office support 5 days a week
Improve existing IT processes
Work with a diverse group of IT partners to optimize our provided services
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues for Mac and PC
Triage and document steps to simplify escalations
Support various IT Systems including Slack, G Suite, Jamf, Okta, Jira, Mac, PC, Zoom, and more
Identify Mac and PC hardware issues, work with external vendors to provide repairs and replacements
Troubleshoot network issues (DNS, VPN, and WiFi)
Requirements
3+ years of experience with IT Ops
Proven ability to lead projects
Strong Apple support experience
Desire to learn new technologies and skills
Ability to handle support tickets in line with SLAs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate complete technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus points
Jamf MDM experience
Zoom Room configuration experience
Experience supporting large meeting AV needs
Supporting office builds from an IT perspective
The expected salary range for this role is $96,400 - $120,500. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
