OUR MISSION:
At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost.
OUR VISION:
We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.
THE ROLE:
At Sunrise Robotics, as IT Specialist, you will own the employee-facing technology layer end-to-end. From the moment someone signs their offer letter, you are responsible for making sure their equipment is ready, their access is granted, and their day-to-day IT experience never slows them down.
As we scale, the decisions you make now about provisioning, endpoint security, and access governance will compound directly into how well we can onboard, secure, and support our employees. You will build the systems - MDM, EDR, identity and access - that make IT invisible in the best way: automated, self-serviced, and never a blocker.
You will own ISO 27001 endpoint compliance end-to-end, working within the Digital Infrastructure team to ensure that as the company grows, our security posture grows with it - continuously, not just at audit time.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own employee equipment provisioning end-to-end - from procurement and zero-touch setup to day-one readiness, across Mac, Windows, and Linux devices.
- Build, maintain, and monitor a centralised endpoint management solution capable of pushing software, enforcing policies, applying updates, and enabling remote wipe across the fleet.
- Deploy and operate an EDR solution, ensuring malware and spyware protection is active and current across all employee devices.
- Manage identity and access - provisioning accounts, configuring SSO integrations, and revoking access cleanly and promptly when people leave.
- Resolve day-to-day hardware and software issues quickly, keeping the team unblocked and building self-service resources that reduce repeat requests.
- Own and enforce ISO 27001 endpoint compliance requirements - maintaining audit-ready documentation and running regular checks to ensure standards are met continuously, not just at audit time.
- Coordinate hardware and software updates across the infrastructure in a way that is smooth and minimally disruptive.
- Work within the Digital Infrastructure team to support broader infrastructure and security goals as the company scales.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Hands-on experience managing a centralised endpoint solution (Intune/Autopilot, Kandji, Jamf, or equivalent) across a multi-OS environment.
- Practical experience with EDR tooling - deploying, configuring, and monitoring endpoint protection in a real company environment.
- Solid working knowledge of identity and access management, including account lifecycle, SSO, and access governance.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or comparable frameworks, specifically at the endpoint and access-control layer.
- Comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes - you set your own priorities, communicate proactively, and don't need close supervision to get things done.
- Clear, practical communicator - you can write a runbook that someone else can follow, explain a technical decision simply, and keep stakeholders informed without noise.
- Comfortable supporting users across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:
- You have set up an endpoint management solution from scratch - not just inherited and maintained one.
- Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment where IT was under-built and you had to make pragmatic decisions about what to build first.
- Interest in automation - whether connecting HR tools to provisioning workflows, scripting repetitive tasks, or using AI tooling to make IT operations faster and smarter.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple locations or time zones.
WHY US:
We’re building a new category of intelligent, flexible robotic automation with real deployments, real customers, and momentum across Europe.
- High exposure: Work directly with founders and leadership on decisions that shape the company’s trajectory
- Real ownership: This role comes with real scope and accountability - you will shape how IT is done at Sunrise Robotics, with the autonomy to implement best practices the right way.
- Tangible impact: You will see your work directly - in faster onboarding, cleaner compliance, and a team that spends less time on IT friction and more time building great robotics.
