Job Summary
The Junior Data Analyst supports day-to-day master data governance operations within Oracle Fusion, with a focus on Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Title Management, and Finance Chart of Accounts (FCGL) structures. This role is responsible for executing governed data creation, updates, validation, and workflow management in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. The position ensures data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established governance rules to support Finance reporting and downstream system integrity.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute governed master data requests in Oracle Fusion EDM, including creation and maintenance of Titles and FCGL dimensions.
- Support Title Management activities (Show, Season, Episode, Part), ensuring correct attributes, hierarchy placement, and validation rules.
- Monitor EDM workflow queues, track request status, and coordinate rework or clarifications with requestors and reviewers.
- Process FCGL dimension requests (e.g., Company, Department, Account, Geography, Brand) following approved governance workflows.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of master data.
- Support legacy data mapping updates and controlled data changes during cutover or freeze periods.
- Assist with documentation of processes and reinforce standard operating procedures with end users.
- Track and report operational metrics such as request volumes, turnaround times, and backlog status.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and data quality issues and escalate to MDG leadership as needed.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in data, finance operations, ERP support, or master data management roles.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), or similar workflow-based data tools.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data review, validation, and reconciliation.
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow governed processes precisely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across Finance and IT teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
- Comfortable working with structured data, validation rules, and process-driven workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
