Junior Data Analyst

Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from diverse sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Perform statistical analysis and basic modelling to support business forecasting and decision-making.

Assist in designing and optimizing data pipelines, leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for efficient data processing.

Automate routine tasks and processes, such as data extraction, transformation, reporting, and workflow orchestration, using scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analyses and workflows.

Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Explore opportunities to integrate cloud-based tools and data engineering practices to enhance analytics workflows.

Stay updated on trends in data analytics, data engineering, cloud development, and process automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and automation.

Interest in data engineering, with exposure to ETL processes, data pipelines, or tools like Apache Airflow.

Enthusiasm for cloud development, with basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate complex insights effectively to diverse audiences.
