As a Junior Data Scientist intern, you will work closely with senior researchers and engineers on various aspects of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing large datasets for machine learning model training. Implement and experiment with various machine learning algorithms and deep learning models under the guidance of senior team members. Develop and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and statistical methods. Contribute to the development of new features and data pipelines. Assist in documenting research findings, methodologies, and code. Collaborate with team members on research projects and present findings in team meetings. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or R. Troubleshoot and debug code and models. Learn and apply best practices in data science and MLOps. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Strong foundation in programming, preferably in Python, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong desire to learn and contribute to AI research. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
