Junior Data Scientist, Marketing Analytics

Our client, a dynamic and innovative e-commerce company, is actively seeking ambitious Junior Data Scientists to join their marketing analytics team. This is a fully remote internship position, allowing students and recent graduates to gain practical experience from anywhere. You will contribute to data-driven decision-making by analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis. You will work with various statistical and machine learning techniques to identify customer segmentation, predict churn, and measure campaign effectiveness. Collaborating with marketing managers and data engineers, you will help translate business needs into analytical projects and present your findings clearly and concisely. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing or has recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline. Demonstrated programming skills in Python or R, along with experience using relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), are essential. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills, are crucial. You should be a self-starter, capable of working independently in a remote environment, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
