Junior Finance Operations Analyst - Leading Investment Bank

Our client is a Tier-1 Global Investment Bank currently seeking a Junior Finance Operations Analyst to join their Financial Resources Management (FRM) Operations team. This is a critical middle-office function acting as the first line of defense in protecting the firm’s financial well-being whilst directly supporting the growth of major trading desks.

As their Analyst, you will sit at the heart of the firm’s financing strategies, optimizing inventory across key APAC markets to drive capital and liquidity efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inventory Optimization: Manage daily exposure and collateral through CCPs, Triparty, or Bilateral transactions to meet firm-wide Liquidity and Capital targets (RWA, LCR, and NSFR).
• Trade Support & Client Service: Act as the primary liaison for client operations regarding secured funding trades and repo post-trade activities, ensuring seamless settlement and issue resolution.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for Front-to-Back (F2B) flows, partnering closely with Finance, Risk, IT, and Settlements.
• Risk & Control: Maintain ownership of key controls, coordinate day-to-day booking, and drive the resolution of breaks while continuously reducing operational risk.

Education & Requirements:

• 0-1+ years of experience within Investment Banking Operations or Middle Office.
• Prior exposure to Trade Support, Collateral & Triparty management, or Repo/Stock Loan products is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in modern automation and data tools (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Copilot, or UiPath) is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with a "control-first" mentality and the ability to grasp complex financial concepts quickly.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills to navigate a wide network of internal and external stakeholders.
