We are hiring for our client in the manufacturing industry.

Position: CAD/PDM Content Center Contractor

Duration: 2 months contract

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $24/hr

Job Description:

The CAD/PDM Content Center Contractor is responsible for developing a customized Content Center using Autodesk Inventor. This role involves accelerating the development of assembly models and drawings by standardizing parts and creating models with defined schemes for frequently used components.

Education:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred; Solid Works, Fusion 360, or similar also acceptable).
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++, or VBA).
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to automation, scripting, or parametric design in CAD software.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, 3D printing, or sheet metal design.
• Proficient in screw thread callouts.
