Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and a strong understanding of basic electrical work. This position requires a dynamic professional who can perform a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, assembly of racks, installation of safety shields, and using power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical and mechanical work, including but not limited to, crimping ferrules on wires and neatly routing cables and wires in and around test equipment.
- Undertake mechanical tasks such as assembly of racks, installation of safety shields, and use of power tools.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of general equipment to identify and rectify faults.
- Ensure all tools and parts needed for the job are in working order.
- Lift, move and carry different hardware and components as per the project's requirements.
- Use ladders and reach high and low areas as needed.
- Interact with various systems and access different areas, requiring physical movement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical work.
- Proficient in using different power tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift, move and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
