Junior Trading Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Analyze real-time market data from various sources to identify trading opportunities
- Design and implement trading algorithms and strategies using programming languages such as Python, C++, or Matlab
- Backtest and optimize trading strategies using historical market data
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of live trading systems
- Collaborate with the trading and technology teams to enhance the firm's trading infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial markets and trading technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience in algorithmic trading, quantitative finance, or a similar role
- Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Matlab)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading concepts, and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
