Job Description

Hi! We are Liven. We develop a global ecosystem of products that help people gain self-observability and steer away from negative thoughts, patterns, and behaviors on their personal journey.

Our UX Research team is the compass of our product development. We don’t rely on assumptions; we dive deep into real user insights to guide our decisions. As we scale, we are looking for two Junior UX Researchers to join our mission. This is a perfect starting point for those looking to pivot into IT and build a meaningful career in UX Research within a product-driven environment.

Important! Given the requirement for frequent interaction with users, the core working hours for this role will typically be 14:00 to 22:00.

🎯 HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • End-to-end Research: Participate in the full UX research cycle under the mentorship of our Lead UX Researcher — from defining research questions to presenting actionable insights.
  • Qualitative Exploration: Assist in planning and conducting user interviews, usability testing, concept testing, and discovery research.
  • Data Synthesis: Work with quantitative data, analyzing survey results and behavioral metrics alongside our analytics team.
  • Insight Generation: Transform raw data into structured insights and clear product recommendations.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct desk research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities for our ecosystem.
  • Hypothesis Testing: Learn to formulate research hypotheses and help product teams validate them through rigorous testing.
  • Continuous Growth: Rapidly immerse yourself in new domains, decode user behavior, and sharpen your research expertise through constant feedback.

🧩 WHAT MAKES YOU A PERFECT FIT?

  • Language Proficiency: English at a C1 level or higher (most of our research and internal communication happens in English).
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to question assumptions and identify cause-and-effect relationships.
  • Information Management: Ability to process, structure, and synthesize large volumes of information.
  • Empathy & Curiosity: A genuine interest in human behavior, motivations, and decision-making processes.
  • Agility: Readiness to learn fast, embrace constructive feedback, and adapt to a high-paced environment.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and argue conclusions based on evidence.

🌱 EVEN BETTER IF YOU:

  • Have experience in any type of research (sociological, psychological, academic, or marketing).
  • Possess a background in marketing, market research, or research agencies.
  • Have a degree in Sociology, Psychology, Economics, or related fields.
  • Understand the basic principles of UX, product management, or customer experience.
  • Are a "switcher" who has proactively mastered the basics of the UX Research profession.

💪🏻 WHAT WILL YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING AT LIVEN?

  • Culture of Curiosity: A place for explorers who embrace the unknown and achieve stellar results even when there’s no playbook.
  • Growth through Impact: Your professional evolution is directly tied to the value you bring to the product and the business.
  • Global Impact: Develop a product that supports the mental well-being of millions of users worldwide every day.
  • Trust and Ownership: The freedom to act, coupled with high responsibility for the outcome.
  • Expert Community: Access to professional clubs, specialized training, a knowledge base, and a library for your continuous learning.
  • Space for Focus: Autonomous offices in Kyiv and Warsaw with breakfasts, lunches, lounge areas, and wellness zones.
  • Well-being Program: We care about the mental health of our team as much as we care about our users, including medical insurance and sports communities.
  • Support during the war: We provide conditions for stable work and contribute to Ukraine's recovery through the SKELAR foundation.

Still on Day 1: A Constant Expedition We keep the "Day 1" spirit — constantly asking questions, testing hypotheses, and adapting. If you are driven by curiosity and want to help users understand themselves better through research, let’s connect.
