If you are passionate about video production, want to work with top-tier equipment, and enjoy collaborating in a creative environment, we'd love to meet you.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Videographer, you will be responsible for filming 1–2 half-day shoots per week in our office for our new podcast series. You will operate and maintain our video equipment, and occasionally travel for on-site shoots unrelated to the podcast. This role requires technical knowledge, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate professional video equipment for in-office podcast productions
  • Coordinate and set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment for each shoot
  • Ensure high-quality footage for both live and recorded content
  • Collaborate with hosts, producers, and the post-production team
  • Handle routine equipment checks and maintenance
  • Travel to external locations for shoots as needed (outside of podcasts)
  • Assist with basic video editing and asset management as required

Qualifications:

  • Some experience in videography, studio production, or a related field
  • Familiarity with video cameras, lighting, and audio setups
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel with equipment for off-site shoots
  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
  • Basic experience with video editing software is a plus

What We Offer:

  • Part-time schedule (1–2 half-day shoots per week, with additional hours for travel shoots)
  • Access to professional-grade production equipment
  • Opportunities for skill development and creative collaboration
  • Friendly, supportive work environment
  • Commuter Benefits: MTA cost reimbursed

How to Apply:

Please submit your resume, a short cover letter highlighting your videography experience, and a link to your portfolio or samples of past work.
