As a Manufacturing Engineer at Knoll, you will work closely with the Engineering department to design and enhance manufacturing protocols that meet quality, safety, and environmental standards. The role emphasizes continuous improvement techniques, including lean methodologies to uplift production efficiency. Your proactive attitude and engineering credentials will drive impactful changes in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced manufacturing solutions
  • Monitor and improve labor standards and capacity
  • Lead and support projects for product rollout
  • Participate in teams focusing on cost reduction
  • Conduct quality inspections and uphold safety standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 2-4 years of progressive engineering experience
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Familiarity with woodworking and finishing processes beneficial
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement strategies necessary
