About the Position
We are looking for a Korea-focused Trading Controls Specialist to join our Hong Kong team. This person will focus on interpretation, design, and implementation of pre- and post-trade controls, whilst working with various internal teams to advise on, analyze and support the continued development of our business in Asia.
Additional responsibilities of this role will include:
Gathering continuous feedback from brokers and exchanges on Korea UTP and short sell rules and other trading sensitivities to help advise and guide the business to make informed decisions
Building relationships with onshore counterparties to gather colour on regulatory and market sentiment about the feedback from counterparties
Working closely with our Korea Business Development, Trading, Compliance and Technology teams to translate the rule interpretations into our controls framework
Monitoring and evaluating new flows/increases in trading and their interaction with controls
About You
Have 8+ years of relevant experience in trading controls design and implementation
Knowledgeable and experienced with Korea exchange rules (any broader APAC experience would be a plus)
Familiar with electronic trading regulations as well as system design
Experience working with devs (some coding skills would be a plus, but not required)
Fluent in English and Korean
