The Role

• Provide senior technical leadership across a small, multidisciplinary AI Lab
• Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered prototypes spanning text, audio, voice, and multimodal experiences
• Lead technical exploration of new models, tools, and workflows
• Define and own architectural decisions, balancing speed, quality, and scalability
• Work closely with product, engineering, and non-technical stakeholders to turn ideas into live experiments
• Mentor and support engineers, contributing to the Lab's longer-term technical roadmap

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience building with modern generative AI systems in production or advanced prototype environments
• Excellent software engineering capability with a bias towards hands-on delivery
• Experience working across multiple modalities, such as text, audio, voice, or conversational interfaces
• Strong judgement in selecting models, tools, and architectures for different use cases
• Confidence communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Comfortable operating autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
