Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, develop, and lead scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in ADF pipelines, Azure data ecosystem, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data processing, along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver enterprise data platforms.
This role requires ownership of data pipeline architecture, performance optimization, data integration, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Build and manage complex ADF pipelines, triggers, datasets, and integration runtimes.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud systems.
- Architect and manage data lakes and warehouses using ADLS and Synapse Analytics.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement batch and real-time data processing solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and business teams.
- Lead code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce best practices.
- Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps.
