Lead Blockchain Developer

Responsibilities:

Lead the architectural design and development of our core blockchain platform and associated decentralized applications (dApps). Develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using languages such as Solidity, Rust, or others relevant to the chosen blockchain protocols. Architect and implement robust cryptographic solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and privacy. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and develop innovative features. Establish and enforce best practices for blockchain development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and deployment pipelines. Research and evaluate emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and consensus mechanisms to identify opportunities for innovation. Mentor and guide junior blockchain developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing development environment. Optimize blockchain network performance, scalability, and security. Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the company's blockchain initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to blockchain infrastructure and smart contracts. Stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency and blockchain landscape. Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with at least 3-5 years focused specifically on blockchain technology and decentralized application development. Extensive experience with one or more major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Polkadot) and their respective development frameworks. Proficiency in smart contract development languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper, Rust) and experience with relevant tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache). Strong understanding of cryptography, distributed ledger technologies, consensus algorithms, and network protocols. Experience with backend development languages (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python) and database technologies. Demonstrated experience in leading development teams and managing complex technical projects. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
