Hiring: C++ Lead Developer (VP) – Front Office | Hong Kong 🚀

We’re partnering with a leading financial institution to hire a C++ Lead Developer (VP level) to join a Front Office technology team in Hong Kong. This is a high-impact leadership role, working directly with trading desks on business-critical systems.

💼 What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the design and development of high-performance, low-latency trading systems
• Collaborating closely with traders, quants, and senior stakeholders in a front office environment
• Driving technical architecture, system scalability, and performance optimization
• Mentoring developers and setting engineering best practices
• Owning delivery across the full software development lifecycle

🧠 What we’re looking for:

• Strong expertise in C++ (modern C++ preferred)
• Proven experience in a Front Office environment within financial services
• Deep understanding of low-latency systems, multithreading, and performance tuning
• Experience leading teams or acting as a technical lead / architect
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with business users

🌟 Nice to have:

• Experience across asset classes (Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Knowledge of market data systems and messaging frameworks
