Lead Clinical Research Scientist

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, R&D, and manufacturing, to drive research initiatives forward and bring life-changing therapies to market.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing, initiating, and managing clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA). Developing comprehensive clinical trial protocols, study plans, and investigator brochures. Overseeing data collection, monitoring, and statistical analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Interpreting research findings and preparing detailed reports, publications, and presentations for scientific and regulatory audiences. Providing scientific and clinical leadership to research teams, mentoring junior scientists and research staff. Identifying and evaluating potential new drug targets and therapeutic strategies. Managing relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and clinical sites. Ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory standards throughout the research process. Contributing to the strategic direction of the company's research and development pipeline.

A Ph.D. or M.D. in a relevant life science discipline (e.g., Pharmacology, Medicine, Biochemistry) is required. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in clinical research within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is essential. Demonstrated success in leading multiple clinical trials, managing budgets, and driving projects to successful outcomes is expected. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are a must. Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed environment are critical.
