You join a team at the forefront of offshore wind, helping deliver reliable, lower-carbon electricity at scale.Let's talk about the roleAs a Lead Commissioning & Services Technician, you lead and support high-voltage commissioning and service activities across wind turbine generator systems and associated electrical equipment. You help ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard, supporting reliable turbine performance offshore.This role follows a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. While on shift, you live and work on the vessel, helping lead daily offshore activities and maintain safe, consistent delivery.How you will make a differenceLeading HV commissioning and service activities across Wind Turbine Generator.Carrying out testing, switching, fault finding, maintenance, and repair on HV, MV & LV equipmentSupporting energisation, system validation, and handover activitiesGuiding technicians in the field to maintain safe execution and strong technical standardsPromoting a safety-first culture through permits, isolations, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety rulesWorking across teams to resolve issues and keep work progressing offshoreWhat you bringA recognised electrical qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent vocational trainingStrong hands-on experience with HV, MV & LV electrical systems in wind energy or a similar industrial environmentExperience in commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, switching, or repairKnowledge of HV systems above 1000V AC / 1500V DC, including isolation, testing, and maintenanceAbility to read electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagramsExperience working under safe systems of work, including permits and risk controlsClear communication skills and the confidence to support others in the fieldAbility to pass GWO (Global Wind Offshore Certification)Experience with HV switching on 11 kV / 33 kV systems, electrical authorisation frameworks, protection systems, or offshore commissioning teams very advantageous!.This role is ideal for you if you enjoy leading by example, solving technical problems, and helping deliver a major offshore wind project safely and successfully.Our CultureEvery action shapes our future.
