Rate: $80.00 to $100.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of a data mart sourced from CRM systems to enhance Power BI capabilities.
• Define and implement star schemas and relational database structures to optimize data accessibility and reporting.
• Design and construct ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
• Establish and maintain data architecture and engineering best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to transform requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Contribute to hands-on code development, while coaching team members on contemporary data practices.
• Prepare the foundation for an enterprise data warehouse and outline the roadmap for future data initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

• Extensive proficiency with Microsoft data technologies, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• 10+ years of experience in designing star schemas and relational data models.
• 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes and production data pipelines.
• Familiarity with integrating datasets for Power BI and applying data modeling techniques that facilitate visualization.
• Proven ability to independently lead projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of data lake and warehouse concepts, including SQL, Delta Lake, and Parquet.
• Experience with Databricks is preferred.
• Understanding of CRM systems and sales data structures is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial data modeling and knowledge of securities, instruments, and portfolios is a plus.
• Ability to align work hours with East Coast business hours while working remotely.
