Lead Data Scientist - Machine Learning Expert 💰 Salary: $90,000 - 150,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:
- Masters or PhD degree in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, operations research, or another quantitative discipline with a proven academic record
- Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in analytical roles within Financial Services or similar fields
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles for at least three (3) years
- Advanced programming abilities; expertise in a statistical language (R or SAS) and experience with programming and data manipulation languages (SQL, Hive, Pig, Python, C/C++, Java); knowledge of relational, MPP, and/or Hadoop data management frameworks; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Adaptable interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively at various organizational levels; ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment
- Excellent project management capabilities to manage several tasks efficiently
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to foster new business initiatives and deliver valuable product offerings to B2B customers in the US financial services sector
- Lead analytic client engagements involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis throughout the consumer lending portfolio lifecycle using various analytical techniques (segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, etc.)
- Design and implement programs for data extraction, segmentation, and statistical analysis on extensive datasets using programming languages like R, SAS, SQL, Hive, and Pig on multiple computing platforms
- Present analytic insights and recommendations compellingly for both internal and external audiences, including executives
- Create project proposals, sales presentations, and promotional materials to support the acceptance of integrated customer solutions from TransUnion
- Identify strategies for clients to trial and embrace TransUnions analytic products and services
- Mentor junior team members while providing guidance on ongoing projects with minimal direct supervision
- Cultivate a high-performing culture that encourages excellence and aligns with the TransUnion brand
