Overview

Our client is a rapidly expanding infrastructure platform delivering large-scale, mission-critical facilities across Asia. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a senior electrical engineering leader to drive end-to-end solution design and support complex project delivery across multiple markets.

This role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

You will lead the design and optimisation of electrical systems across data centre environments, including power distribution, backup systems, and associated infrastructure, ensuring high levels of reliability and resilience.

Working closely with commercial teams, you will translate client requirements into technically sound and cost-effective solutions, while providing leadership across the full project lifecycle-from concept design through to commissioning and operational handover.

You will engage with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on design intent and compliance with relevant standards. In addition, you will contribute to the development and governance of engineering standards, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

The role will also involve supporting vendor evaluation, equipment selection, and the integration of emerging technologies, alongside mentoring and developing engineering talent within the team.

Requirements

You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including strong exposure to data centre or other mission-critical environments.

You possess solid expertise in power systems, including distribution, redundancy, and resilience strategies, as well as familiarity with international standards and best practices in electrical design.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. Professional certification or chartership will be viewed favourably.
