Job Description

A prominent energy solutions firm is actively recruiting a Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead projects related to power systems design and implementation in Dallas, Texas, US . This on-site role demands a high level of technical expertise and leadership in developing innovative electrical infrastructure for various industrial and commercial applications. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from conceptualization and feasibility studies to detailed design, testing, and commissioning.

Key responsibilities include designing high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and protection schemes. You will perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective relay coordination studies. The Lead Electrical Engineer will also develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software. Collaboration with mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated system design is crucial. You will lead a team of electrical engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and overseeing project execution. Vendor management, ensuring compliance with industry standards (NEC, IEEE), and performing site inspections are also key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems, as well as experience with substation design and renewable energy integration. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant professional engineering licensure are required.
