Lead Industrial Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead process optimization and efficiency initiatives within their manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Conduct detailed process analysis, including value stream mapping and waste reduction. Develop and optimize production workflows, plant layouts, and material handling systems. Supervise and mentor a team of industrial engineers. Utilize statistical tools and techniques for process analysis and control. Collaborate with operations and other departments to achieve efficiency goals. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing performance. Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and training materials. Identify and implement best practices in industrial engineering and manufacturing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing operations. Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams. Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred). Proficiency in process simulation, CAD, and statistical analysis software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate with production teams.
