Our client is actively searching for a talented and innovative Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead process improvement initiatives within their manufacturing operations located in Boston, Massachusetts, US . This is a critical on-site role where you will be instrumental in optimizing production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, coupled with at least 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to streamline workflows and improve product quality. This includes designing optimal facility layouts, developing standard operating procedures, and leading cross-functional teams in the implementation of new technologies and methodologies. A strong understanding of supply chain management, production planning, and quality control principles is essential. The Lead Industrial Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, conduct training sessions, and champion a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with production staff, management, and external vendors. Experience with simulation software, CAD tools, and statistical analysis packages is highly desirable.
