Our client, a prominent manufacturing and technology firm, is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Industrial Engineer to drive process improvement initiatives. This critical role involves analyzing complex manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead a team of engineers, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of improved manufacturing processes, workflows, and systems. Conduct detailed time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and other lean manufacturing techniques to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for process optimization initiatives. Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for enhancement. Design and implement performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of implemented changes. Develop and deliver training programs on lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies. Collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes. Oversee the selection and implementation of new technologies and equipment to improve operational efficiency. Mentor and guide junior industrial engineers, fostering their professional development. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all process designs. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management. Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and lean manufacturing. Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing complex process improvement projects in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred), and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools (e.g., Arena, AutoCAD, Minitab, Excel). Strong leadership, project management, and team mentoring skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Deep understanding of supply chain management, operations management, and quality control principles.
