Lead Industrial Engineer, Process Optimization

Our client is searching for a highly skilled and innovative Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead efforts in process optimization and operational efficiency. This critical role involves analyzing complex manufacturing and operational systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and simulation modeling. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, mentoring junior staff, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities: Analyze existing industrial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Design, develop, and implement new processes, systems, and equipment to optimize workflow and efficiency. Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analyses, and cost-benefit analyses. Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality. Utilize simulation software to model and evaluate proposed process changes before implementation. Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of optimized processes. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and performance metrics. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in industrial engineering and process improvement. Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to executive leadership.
