Lead Industrial Engineer - Process Optimization

Our client, a renowned industrial leader, is seeking an accomplished Lead Industrial Engineer with a strong focus on process optimization. In this critical role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving complex industrial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead cross-functional teams in identifying bottlenecks, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and leveraging advanced engineering techniques to drive significant operational improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of statistical process control, simulation modeling, and workflow automation. You will be expected to develop innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems, translating strategic objectives into tangible operational outcomes. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead the analysis and redesign of manufacturing and operational processes. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Utilize simulation software and data analysis tools to model and optimize process flows. Design and oversee the implementation of new production systems and equipment layouts. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance metrics. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
