Our client, a global leader in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead supply chain optimization initiatives. You will play a critical role in analyzing complex operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and designing innovative solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of industrial engineering solutions across the supply chain network, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and service level improvement. Analyze current operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven improvements using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation. Develop and maintain process models, flowcharts, and performance metrics to track progress and measure the impact of implemented changes. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, procurement, and IT, to ensure successful project execution. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Mentor and guide junior industrial engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices in supply chain management and industrial engineering. Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management. Ensure all implemented solutions align with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Drive standardization of processes and best practices across all facilities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on supply chain operations and optimization. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and process simulation tools. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python). Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in a remote setting. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and WMS is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and comfortable working in a fully remote capacity, contributing to operations located in and around Fort Worth, Texas, US .
