Job Summary The ICSS Manager is responsible for the overall management, design, implementation, and lifecycle support of Integrated Control &

• Safety Systems, including DCS, ESD, F&G, and PLC systems. The role ensures system integrity, compliance with international standards, and safe, reliable plant operations.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• System Management &

• Integrity

Oversee the design, engineering, and maintenance of ICSS systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC).

• Ensure system reliability, availability, and cybersecurity compliance.

• Project &

• Execution Leadership

Lead ICSS scope for EPC/EPCI projects, upgrades, and brownfield modifications.

• Review and approve engineering deliverables (FDS, C&E, logic diagrams, FAT/SAT).

• Operations Support

Provide technical support for troubleshooting, system optimization, and incident investigations.

• Ensure minimal downtime and safe plant operations.

• Compliance &

• Governance

Ensure compliance with standards such as IEC, ISA, and company specifications.

• Act as custodian for control and safety system philosophies and procedures.

Required Skills, Experience &

• Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in

Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering

• Typically

10–15+ years of experience in ICSS / automation engineering

• Strong experience in:

• DCS (e.g., Yokogawa, Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens)

• ESD &

• Fire &
• Gas systems

• SIL / Functional Safety (IEC 61508 / IEC 61511)

• Experience in offshore / FPSO / oil & gas environments preferred

• Proven leadership or team management experience

• ICSS architecture and system integration

• Control system networking & cybersecurity
