About the Role
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will spearhead a technical team focused on the design and delivery of specialized electrical systems. You will be instrumental in optimizing engineering workflows and fostering a culture of high performance to ensure project excellence and operational success.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily engineering activities to guarantee the precise and punctual delivery of technical documentation and project milestones.
- Partner with sales, supply chain, and operations departments to align engineering outputs with production demands and client specifications.
- Oversee resource allocation and project prioritization to consistently meet organizational performance targets.
- Cultivate professional growth within the team through active mentorship, coaching, and talent development initiatives.
- Spearhead continuous improvement efforts to standardize workflows and enhance overall engineering efficiency.
- Utilize performance analytics to track quality and throughput, identifying opportunities to eliminate operational bottlenecks.
- Champion the adoption of new tools and strategic systems to modernize engineering processes.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of professional experience within a manufacturing or industrial production setting.
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Deep technical knowledge of power distribution systems, specifically low or medium voltage equipment.
- Proven track record in engineered-to-order (ETO) environments.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in process optimization and performance management methodologies.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing or standardization initiatives.
