Our client, a titan in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is actively seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive operational excellence at their state-of-the-art facility in Atlanta, Georgia, US . This senior role is critical for optimizing production lines, enhancing efficiency, and implementing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive expertise to troubleshoot complex production issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs. Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, recommending and implementing solutions. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Oversee the validation and qualification of new equipment and process changes. Stay abreast of new manufacturing technologies and industry best practices, evaluating their potential application. Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements and best practices. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment. Manage projects related to process upgrades, automation, and capacity expansion. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment. Proven ability to lead complex process improvement projects and deliver measurable results. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
