As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee the mechanical aspects of complex projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies through detailed design, analysis, prototyping, and production support. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems for aerospace applications. Provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers. Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Ensure designs comply with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100) and customer requirements. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for mechanical engineering tasks. Identify and implement innovative design solutions to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a significant portion in the aerospace industry. Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects. Expertise in CAD/CAE software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, NASTRAN). Deep understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, including dynamics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
